And 100% of the women that have worked with us in our 2.5 years of existence have experiences to share from working in the beer industry. Some of these stories hit particularly close to home for us. It all started from a simple question: Is anyone else experiencing sexist comments? The above list does not represent a final destination, but rather a work in progress as we listen to our teammates and our community to continue to grow and adapt to meet their needs.In the last year the craft beer industry experienced a wave of stories highlighting emotional, physical, and sexual abuse across our industry (if you have not heard anything about this, Brienne Allan’s Instagram ( are worth spending some time on - or going into a deep dive, as many of us have - or reading this article, or this one, or this one). We are passionate about and dedicated to using our voice and actions to continue to take positive steps in our community. Once implemented, the health and wellness plan will include access to the Tellmi app across our entire team to ensure everyone has a voice and the opportunity to discuss mental health concerns.


Sponsored a sexual harassment training seminar for members of the Missouri Craft Brewers Guild hosted by Safe ConnectionsĪdditionally, we are in the process of launching an updated health and wellness plan which will include an employee assistance program on top of our already robust traditional health insurance plan. We are very passionate about the mission set out by Brave Noise and would like to be transparent about our participation in the project and the steps we’ve taken at the brewery to demonstrate that we care deeply about our team, our culture and our community.
